Born in 1971 on the Isle of Man, Higgins began displaying a keen interest in motorsports from a very early age. By the age of 9, he began karting in a small open-wheeled vehicle. At age 17 he went on to take part in a variety of different competitions in the country. Although Higgins won 3 titles at the British Rally Championships he was unable to scor
e a title at the World Rally Championship. Instead of letting that get to him, Higgins decided to take his career in a different direction. Since retiring from the sporting world, Higgins has made a large success from his work as a stunt driver on a variety of television shows and movies.
Mark Higgins is an icon in the car sports world. His long-standing career was filled with many highlights. Although he suffered from a few disappointments he never let them get him down. This led to him building a new successful career for himself.
